As children of God, we must know how influential the devil is in this world, and we must also know that Jesus once talked about the devil and pointed out that the devil is a fallen angel and a liar. Jesus Christ talked to the devil face to face and was tempted by the devil. When the devil said that all the nations of the world were under his rule, Jesus did not object, which shows how great the devil's sphere of influence on earth is.
We must know that the devil brings corruption and killing. It likes to occupy people's bodies, control people's minds, and put evil thoughts, lustful thoughts, stealing, and lying thoughts in people's hearts, bringing corruption to people's lives. As children of God, we cannot allow the devil to continue to harm mankind, and we cannot allow the devil to bring destruction in our homes and in people's bodies.
The devil likes to hide behind certain idols and be worshipped. He likes to occupy people's houses, making the whole house disharmonious, causing family breakdown and illness. It also raises its worshippers around the world and expands its influence through the media. Especially with the advent of the short video era, the devil uses ignorant people to confuse people's hearts around the world, leading to the spread of depression, cancer, drug abuse, homosexuality, and witchcraft. But Christians cannot live out the power of Christ's life, how shameful!
Through Jesus Christ, we all know that the gods of countries around the world are evil spirits and demons. They may play the role of angels of light, bring benefits to people, make people proud, ignorant, arrogant, and bring disasters to the world.
When Jesus Christ came, he never shied away from talking about the devil. He was the one who ended the devil's work, healing and driving out demons everywhere, and releasing those who were bound by the devil. Not only that, Jesus Christ also taught his disciples to heal the sick and drive out demons. Because if the devil is not driven away, it will stay and it does not want to abandon the territory it once occupied. Jesus Christ also taught people to fast so that they could enter a state of complete fusion with the Holy Spirit and rely on the power of the Holy Spirit to cast out demons. Because some demons are stubborn, they must rely on the greater power of the Holy Spirit to be driven out.
As children of God, we are all filled with the Holy Spirit and live out the life of Christ. The devil is a complete loser in front of us. Christ, the anointed one of God, lives in us. Since we have obtained the life of Christ, we should not let the devil do whatever he wants and destroy our lives.
You and I must know that we have joined a battle, a battle that has been won, a battle to work with Christ, and a battle to eliminate the works of the devil by relying on the power of God's Holy Spirit. Many Christians dare not talk about the devil. They do not know the mystery of the life of Christ, do not know how to live out the power of the Holy Spirit, and leave many opportunities for the devil. They even become the target of the devil's attack.
We all must know that the spiritual world is the real world, and Christ has become our life. We should all know clearly what this world is like and what Christ in us is like. We should all obey the teachings of James: Therefore, submit yourselves to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you. (James 4:7) We must stop the devil’s actions and destroy his deeds.
